About project
Speakly.PRO is a language-learning platform designed to be convenient for both teachers and students.
The platform provides teachers with a range of cutting-edge tools for creating and delivering lessons, assigning and reviewing homework as well as the opportunity to earn additional income through a marketplace of supplementary materials and assignments.
For students the platform ensures a comfortable learning experience with access to materials from past lessons for revision, the ability to contact any teacher on the platform for materials or assistance and an effective system of motivation and rewards.

User Personas
For the platform I segmented the users into two main groups — teachers and students — and developed two user personal for each group.
Teachers:
- full-time teacher
- part time teacher
Students:
- female student
- male student

I also prepared Jobs To Be Done for the platform’s core screens for both teachers and students, taking into consideration the main tasks and user requirements for each, as well as prioritising the features.
Components Library
In this project I created a component library to ensure consistency,
as well as to enable faster and more efficient development.
I selected icons for the sidebar menu and designed them in two states — default and selected.
I used the Material Icons library as it contains all the necessary icons.
In addition the shape and overall aesthetic of the set align well with the platform’s chosen visual style.
Current State of the Platform
The platform is currently in development and will be released soon following thorough design review and testing.
There are also plans to create a mobile application connected to the platform, specifically designed to make vocabulary learning and practice easier.
